Thanks Riverbendgirl! Darci that is so awesome, and I appreciate the encouragement! This site helped me when I was digging my way out of credit card debt, and the blogs and forums are a great way to stay inspired and to get different ideas now that I'm trying to build my emergency fund.

2014 Challenge - Week 7
I deposited $28 for Week 7 of the challenge. This was a spendy week for me, so my deposit is the money I was able to transfer from my PayPal account ($25 for Swagbucks and $3 for a Pinecone survey). I haven't had to get gas, so no money this week from the $4 per gallon savings.

2014 Challenge - Week 9
I was able to deposit $30 for Week 9 of the challenge. I had to get gas today, but gas prices have jumped so high that I really didn't save much ($3) towards the $4 per gallon savings. I received my insurance renewal in the mail and called my insurance carrier and found some discounts that will lower my premium. It doesn't take affect until the end of March, so I don't consider it a savings yet. My plan is to attack the highest numbers whenever we return to full pay at work.

2014 Challenge - Week 10
I deposited $35 for Week 10 of the challenge, but I haven't done a great job of sticking to a budget. There has been a lot going on, but I hope to get my financial life back on track this coming week.
Mattthew - you should join the 52 week challenge. It's not too late to join (you would just go from March 2014 to March 2015), and it's a great way to save!

2014 Challenge - Week 11
Steve, thanks so much for the kind words. I get frustrated when things aren't progressing the way I want them to, and I really don't have anything to complain about so I appreciate the reminder.
I was able to deposit $49 for Week 11 of the challenge, so that is a blessing! I transferred $25 from PayPal that I earned from Swagbucks, and the rest is "extra" money that was in my checking account.
