I deposited $19 for Week 47 of the challenge, but I had a really great week. I found $10 in the snow when I was shopping and I transferred $75 from PayPal that I had earned from Swagbucks. I had another big expense for my car, so I'm using the "extra" funds to start a car fund in addition to my emergency fund.
I deposited $17 for Week 49 of the challenge and I now have over $2,000 in deposits for my 2014 challenge. WooHoo - and there are only 3 weeks left. Thanks SavingSteve for your encouragement!
I deposited $16 for Week 50 of the challenge, and there are only 2 weeks left! kennySang - the Yahtzee method was perfect for me, so I didn't get discouraged if I didn't make a certain amount.
I deposited $14 for Week 52 of the challenge. I can't believe it is finally over!!! I plan to post my final challenge numbers after the transfer is credited to my account, so it will be a great way to end 2014. I feel so blessed to have made it through another year.
You were faithful to yourself in this challenge. Well done!

I cannot believe that today is the last day of 2014! I made it through 2 years of the challenge and my total deposits with interest through today is $3,461.40. I can still remember the days when I was drowning in debt and living paycheck to paycheck with no savings, so this is a huge accomplishment for me.
To those who are thinking about starting the challenge, I want to encourage you to take the leap. Even if you have setbacks, you'll likely end up better than you started and something is better than nothing. SavingAdvice set up many different challenge sheets or you can come up with your own challenge as I did for 2014.
Thank you so much a1nipper, Joan.of.the.Arch, and SavingSteve for your encouragement. My prayer is that everyone has a safe, Happy New Year, and I wish everyone success with their financial goals in 2015.

I am doing the challenge again for 2015, but decided not to post this year because I don't feel I have anything new to add. The funny part is that I made one deposit late already because I had gotten used to making my deposit and then posting my progress here, but I'm back on track and I'm hoping to have another successful year. I increased my highest amount to $75 for 2015 so now my amounts for the 52 weeks are $24 to $75 and I will have $2,574 in deposits if I meet the goal. Thanks so much for checking in, and I'll make sure to follow your progress!
