I thought of this thread as I was listening to an ebay seller podcast today. The guest told a story of she and her husband buying a storage unit at auction a few years ago. Inside among other things they discovered that the previous owner collected silver. All together, the unit contained 100 pounds of silver bars/ingots/whatever they're called. She didn't say how much they sold everything for but I'm sure it was magnitudes more than they paid for the unit which was probably a couple hundred dollars.Steve

Am I the only one who is worried about this? We diversify asset classes but put all of our eggs in one basket, king dollar. Frosted might be on to something stashing silver bars.
