I love his story and am glad for his success!
Where is it? I always stop at those and give the kids way more than they are asking, usually $1 for a $.25 glass to help inspire them to do it again.
My 2 daughters want to do it and we will next summer. At this point I am walking them thru the process of a business plan, financing, and so on. What happens on a rainy day? No profits, and losses if you pay overhead.
Lemonade stands are a phenomenal way to teach kids about business and budgeting. Properly priced, high quality lemonade allows you to turn a profit and be able to make the next batch of lemonade.
Web design is my next hope for them to want to do. It costs so little yet can be so profitable and teaches basic business skills.
My hope for them is not to make a million necessarily, just open their eyes to believing they can do anything they want if they have the will to do it and support.
