        Guidelines:
Use a 15 year mortgage when you finance
Move based on NEED and not based on WANT
When you do move, get everything you need, and lots of what you WANT

        Here are some thoughts:

        1) Can you rent your current house out? This can become a part time job for you or spouse- at same time it can help income.

        2) Can you sell your current house?

        3) Have you priced houses where you want to move?

        4) Start looking for a new house. The longer you look, the more you will learn. The real estate market changes every 60-90 days. Don't fall in love with a specific property, just focus on your NEEDS and WANTS.

I would suggest paying close attention to the following:
        1) Kitchens
        2) Bathrooms
        3) Main Living area

Know what you NEED and WANT with regards to these 3 rooms, and you will likely be happy with your choice.

Before you leave or sold out or rent your house make sure that you have found a new home for yourself and try to find a home where you don't have to spend much on home improvement. Also try to do move your house with the help of your family and friends so that you can save money on moving process.
Exactly..I'm also agree here..You should move on to provide good education your child. It's also true you should take help from your friends/relatives to save any consultant fee. Good luck!!
