Can anyone reccomend a good broker for a Roth IRA that has no minimum initial contribution requiremnent or has a very low one? Thanks in advance.

I believe T. Rowe Price has a very low minimum if you sign up for a $50/month auto-deposit.

I'll second T Rowe Price. I have more than 100k invested with them and my first deposit was only $50.

Td ameritrade has a minimum of just $500. And no service fees.
Schwab is Open an account with $1,000, or $0 if you set up a monthly transfer of at least $100.
        Account service fees: None.

I hope that information helps. I would go with them other brokerage firms would charge double. I can help you on the advice if you need that.

I 3rd (4th?) T Rowe. The $50 minimum is awesome, if you commit to regular contributions.

Vanguard Star had a minimum of $1k (last I checked). It's a balanced fund. IT's a good way to get into Vanguard, until you accumulate $3k for the rest of their funds.

But for something aggressive like an IRA, T Rowe is probably a better bet. You can pretty much buy anything.
