One of these is headquartered near me. They have the local reputation of doing things on the ritz and providing nicely for family members of the central figure, and of course for the central figure. It does seem like a bit of a racket to me. But really, I think there are bigger, badder corporations doing far worse... [comment deleted by myself to help keep this site not so flamingly political]

I can understand the private jets because they normally have quite a few people who are part of their ministry that travels with them and they have a harder time trying to book seats to unusual and hard to get to areas.

If they investigate this they should investigate Al Gore and some of our politicians as well for their jets and the special interest group freebees that they receive.

Grassley would be better served to start his investigations in Congress first and clean up their own house before trying to clean up others.

The difference between Al Gore and televangelists is that Gore doesn't fleece gullible followers while wrapping himself in a cloak of phony piety.

I beg to differ with that Actually, I think the difference is that Al Gore doesn't get tax exempt status. Enough people worship at the alter of global warming he should apply for it, though.
