I am noticing an uptick in spam like comments on blogs

as well as odd long posts that seem to be taken down in a short time
In the time I have been here when an uptake like this happens it is only a matter of time before site has an issue

There has been a lot but it's been much better since they added the Recaptcha, but I think they had to temporarily turn that off because there were issues with it.

When you find spam, tag james.hendrickson in a post and he'll get it deleted.

I haven't seen much on the forum.
It's been a minute since I've had to clean up spam on here.

I agree. It's been pretty rare on the forums. It's almost daily on the blogs, though.

Sorry i should have clarified on the blogs. sometimes a "new" name shows up with what looks like an article cut and pasted as opposed to a real blog. they seem to disappear in a day or two but there are often spam in comments.
