  • Back link disabled?

I noticed that you couldn't check on the older blog pages anymore.

Is that a temporary or a permanent thing?

Also, as a general question to any readers out there, how are you keeping track of the blogs? Especially now that the entries are shooting out faster than ever?

i trust the 'all entries' page and browse through that (or several pages of that, rather).

what i would love to see in the blogs (in case nate or jeffery happen to drop in!)
    1. the ability to 'subscribe' to blogs when you're a logged in user. maybe a button 'watch this blog!' at the top, and a special page on the control panel 'blogs i watch'. or, better yet:
    2. more of a 'homepage' for a blog. what would be nifty is a portal page done frame or table style when i log in. an 'about me' section, blogs i watch (complete with a notice there are 8 new posts and 10 new comments on Bob's blog, that sort of thing), an 'email SA' form, and my most recent blog entry. or something like that. along those lines, perhaps more of a homepage feel for the blogs frontpage (i.e. tinapbeana.savingadvice.com). when you go there you just see my blog, which is fine. but what might be neat is a tabbed interface with an 'about me', 'blogs i watch', 'sites i visit', 'recent entries' (which could use the same logic as the current main 'all entries' page to show only the first portion of an entry), 'archives', etc. basically, more like the 'tabbed' interface on the main blog pages.
    3. i wanna keep up with comments! i know, it's more thread-like and less blog-like, but i'd like to know what blog entries i've commented on so i can go back and read responses. i guess this really ties in to the first item in a way...

Sorry, I don't follow. Do you mean archive pages? They should be working.

Hmm... Okay, for example, when I click the All Entries tab, the "<< Newer Entries Older Entries >>" links are not there.

Also, if you were to go to the second page directly, the "<< Newer Entries" link is working, but the "Older Entries >>" link is gone.

Or have I finally gone completely insane?

          All great suggestions, thank you.
#1, i like, will have to think more about it but I can see it working.
#2, we have plans for something like this as well. specifically, giving more options to personalize your blog.
#3 has been requested before, and is first on my list. i'd expect it to be finished by the end of this week.
