  • Anyone got a subscription to Motley Fool?

What do you guys think of a subscription to Motley fool? I've been thinking about it, and for $99 a year, it seems like a decent deal

    1) Are their stock selections any good?
    2) Or, is it just a waste of time and $ and better to just stick with index funds?

Our library used to subscribe. You may be able to use your library's electronic download system to follow for awhile to see if you'd like to subscribe. With all the threats of tariff tumult and unhinged contracts, the stock picks in all the index funds in all the countries will make all the analysts 'candles' and judgement turn into porridge.

If you're looking at a stock-picking newsletter, I like Morningstar, both Stock Investor and Dividend Investor.
