  • Peeking again

I looked at a few investments today and I did okay in december it turns out. I think consumer spending was likely the reason but it was nice to finally see things move in a positive direction for a change, even if it's temporary. Have you peeked?

I updated my NWS and had to get the info. I peeked in Oct. or Nov., not much change. I will peek again when the Dow reaches 10k.

Hope you don't have to wait too long to peek when it reaches 10k

I sincerely hope that I am wrong here, but I don't think that it'll last.

Individual investors have been scared out of the market, and institutional investors were already out on holiday vacation. That left December with a very light trading volume based on amateur traders and passive investors doing their thing.

I suppose what I am saying is to brace for another potential drop in the first quarter of 2009. This month will be interesting to watch. But like I said, hopefully I am wrong.

My trading account is the same, but I opened it in October.

It feels good to see things turning upward, if only in the short term, I saw a 5% gain and It was at least temporarily encouraging of future possibilities.

Now to scrape up some more cash and throw it that way....

I bought BNI at $79.79 and it is back up to $81.27. Yeah!

Not even talking about the other investments though...
