  • Treasury Bill Minimums Lowered

In case you didn't already know it, last Friday the Treasury Dept. announced that they were lower the minimum amount necessary to buy treasury bills from $1,000 to $100.

I stopped doing my Tbill ladder after the rate fell below the internet banks, but it's nice to know that those with less capital can start taking advantage of this opportunity at a much lower opportunity cost once rates go back up...

    Anybody else into T-Bills?

Yes, T-Bills & TIPS, but it's been awhile since I bought one due to the lousy yields.

Yes, it is nice to know the treasury department is needing more and more money to keep the rediculous spending and big government going.

I agree our treasury is getting desperate. I can remember when it took 10K for a TBill and 3 months was the shortest duration.
