Wow I'm missing out on a lot of discussion

I always come here and just go to the New Post button to see what's happening. Well it's been pretty dismal and I can't tell you how long it's been. I just figured there wasn't a lot of chatter going on.

But since I read the thread on the new changes coming I decided to go thru each forum, and low and behold there are a lot of threads, even from today that do not show up in my New Post selection.

Oh well, guess a lot of reading material whenever I have time.

That’s odd. I do the same thing with new posts. I don’t think I’m missing anything. I wonder why you are.

I don't know, but even some threads that have posts today don't show up in my new posts :-(.

Like the Milly thread about the cabin, you commented on that today Steve, wouldn't that show up in my new posts? It doesn't.

It should. It does for me.

It always says that there are no new posts for me, but they come up when I click on the part that shows all the posts in the past 24 hrs.

I "think" that the new post area resets itself every day or every so many hours. So, depending on timing, it's possible that nothing will show up in there even if there were several new conversations posted in the past day or so.

One of the things I noticed about 'new posts' is that if you do not get through them all they are gone the next time you log in (or if your feed times out and you have to log back in). But as you may notice, I only stop in here every few months because I just do not have a lot of time what with all the screwing around, kicking back, computer games, and just staring blankly out the window.
