To tip or not to tip, that is the question here. I get my hair cut once per month. My hair grows fast so I get it cut short. It would be wonderful to get my neck shaved between haircuts, but I never have bothered to go. My haircut is $20. My barber, she's not much for words, but she does a good job so I tip her $5. I used to not tip haircuts, then I tipped $2, now I tip $5 in appreciation for her work and to help support her business, although I'm not even sure if she likes me or not.
I'm sure it's been asked before on forum, do you tip your barber? What do you consider to be the right tip if any tip at all?
Do you tip when you pick up carryout food? I usually order a Papa Johns pizza about once per week. I always pick up, and add a tip in the total, usually just a dollar, and I do the same for when I pick up OEC Japanese. Not sure what the tip protocol is for carryout food. Thoughts?
