$10,000 check too large for mobile deposit (pic )

Tried to deposit this $10,100 check using the mobile app but it said it was too large and to go to a local branch to deposit it in person. It's a good problem to have and I'm not complaining just F.Y.I. I wish I had more like this to deposit in person.

I believe my bank limits mobile/home deposits to a max of $5000 per check. Not totally sure why, but I'm sure it's a limitation based on some form of banking regulations & bureaucrazy...

BoA initially had a $5,000/month limit. Then they raised it to $10,000/month. Then they lowered it to $8,000/month which pissed me off. So I now will have to go back to using an ATM from time to time. I had stopped that entirely with the 10K limit. 8K isn't quite enough for me.
