I am watching the show now. They are talking about one sister that borrows money from the other sister all the time and never pays her back. I had that same problem with my adopted daughter for many, many years. I finally just had to say no and I rarely hear from her anymore.

We didn't get to see it. I'll have to check oprah.com to read about it.

        * Despite the high cost of living, it remains very popular.
        * Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?
        * There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going.

i saw it! she's (apparantly) doing great! I missed the first show, so her story was new to me. It was great to watch her go from what she was, to what she appeared to be now. Her extentions were even gone and she seemed so much happier. AND her kids now have health insurance!

The beginning of the show was good too with the lady who's sister was always borrowing money. I loved the corrolation that was made about how a chaotic house is a sign of a chaotic soul. The lady who couldn't afford to ever pay her sister back had expensive things and even a HUGE brand new floor model TV...yet the house was extremely messy. I can understand that example perfectly because I use to go through the same thing - when things in my life were chaotic, it reflected in my housekeeping.
