I'm currently enjoying the Wall Street Journal's Complete Guide to investing (or something like that. I'm trying to remember it off the top of my head.) It even has pretty pictures. Oooh!

I'm reading Getting Started in a Financially Secure Retirement by Henry K. Hebeler. You can read most of its content for free at analyzenow.com.

I am also reading Venus on the Half-Shell by Philip Jose Farmer, Gardening When it Counts: Growing Food in Hard Times by Steve Solomon, and rereading The Only Investment Guide You'll Ever Need by Andrew Tobias.

i'm currently reading a collection of short stories by travel writers.

Couse, i've been reading this for over a year, along with another dozen half-read books i can't seem to finish. i was such an avid reader in college and thru my 20s; somehow, my concentration and interest is not at that level anymore.

I do read lots of magazines and may have subscriptions, at any given time, to: Money, Cottage Living, Cooking Light, Vegetarian Times, More, Better Homes & Garden, Birds 'n Bloom and my local weekly newspaper.

How can you read so many books at once it would confuse me. I am trying to get through Every Landlords Legal Guide just finished Finding Fish the Antoine Fisher story. It was interesting and also the Landlord's Guide to finding great tenants.

I'm trying the Suze Orman, but find her style a little much.

If you like fiction, I just read the best book by a Chicago (I think) writer, Mark Slouka called _The Visible World _.
It's a haunting story about WWII in Prague. I wish I was getting a cut on this--I've been recommedning it to everyone who likes literary fiction!

I'm still reading Jack, Knave, and Fool by Bruce Alexander. Haven't had time to finish because of other books for school. I'm also making my way (very slowly) through Auto Repair for Dummies. Hopefully I'll finish these books by the end of the year.

I have Buffetolgy, our very well off business partner gave it to us along with a calculator and one of those investor magazines that has company profiles. I have to say it was difficult to get through. I should probably read it again.

I just finished The Reader which was very good. I bought it at garage sale.

I am going to the library soon, I am going to use some of your suggestions.

Finance - The intelligent investor by Ben Graham.
Cooking - Various books on decorative garnishes.
Fiction - Devil may cry by Sherrilyn Kenyon. Maybe it's because I'm used to her Dark Hunter series, but I'm not very enthusiastic about this one.
