Gotchas

We had some extra money in our pockets in October and we spent it. Mostly on eating out, entertaining, Christmas gifts and a new (used) laptop. We got our credit card debt paid off last month and I wish I had the money that we used for payments to put into savings but we spent it.

Now it time to get back to basics after looking at the budget and extra leaking.

I can relate to this very well. I find myself running into them quite a bit. If you relax for just a little bit and stop thinking about saving, the gotchas will come to bite you very quickly.

At least you get to cross-off some items on your Xmas list!...don't be so hard on yourself, just get back on track!

I'm trying to keep those at bay as much as possible, especially with Xmas just around the corner. These 2 months is when I really have to watch out for them.
