I am not sure this is so much of a recipe, but a method. I've had meal plans that called for my husband and I to finish off leftovers. Great plan. Then company stops over, and is going to eat as well.
One time, we had about 2.5 servings of homeade chili leftvoers. I had about a third of a pound of pasta leftover (uncooked) - cooked that up, mixed the chili in, topped with a little cheese.. stretched the meal, and was very tasty to boot
