  • Do you think daily about the weekly challenge?

I have once concern about this challenge. Since it is once a week, I'm afraid I might ignore it for the week and then when the deposit day comes, I won't have the money for the challenge. How does everyone do this challenge on a daily basis so that at the end of the week, they aren't caught offguard without money to deposit? Do you have a daily habit so that you think about it at least a little bit everyday?

Pay at the beginning of the week, not the end. "Pay yourself first."

I'm so used to thinking about finances on a daily basis, it's not an issue for me. You could do what Brian said and pay yourself first if you have the money available. I've heard from others who are doing this that they will make their deposit when they get paid, which may be less often than weekly. I'm one of those who will probably be doing that, as I get paid bi-monthly. I will just have to look at my budget when I get paid and determine what amount I will be able to afford to save for the 2- or 3-week period ahead, and transfer the funds at that time.

A simple way to deal with this is to create a daily activity that would remind you to think about it. A perfect example would be emptying change / dollars into a jar at the end of the day as part of the challenge. It would help toward it plus be a reminder to think about other things you can do on a daily basis as well.

If we think daily about the weekly challenges then we will be able acquire our success based on the daily activities done

Oh, I like the idea of doing something on a daily basis that can remind me. A change jar was something I was planning anyway.
