Costco has many wonderful ways to save, and they often come unexpectedly. Their use isn’t limited to buying groceries in bulk to save a buck. It doesn’t even stop at great deals on gas (when your local Costco has a gas station). Even more, value is added with Costco’s water bottle delivery service. It seems like a weird thing for Costco to be involved with, but we can’t argue with saving money!
How it Works
Costco partners with several different water suppliers nationwide to ensure maximum geographical coverage. This means that Costco will actually broker a deal with a company like Sparkletts and Niagra, depending on where you live. They will pair you with their local partner, and make sure that you save extra money on whatever you get delivered. Just like with the traditional water delivery memberships, you can add on a water dispenser that you like (fees may vary). Both 3-and-5-gallon options are available, and they start at $6.49 per bottle. Keep in mind that you do have to have a Costco membership to take advantage of these savings.
How to Sign Up
First, you just have to go to their bottle delivery website. Then, you will enter your ZIP code to get sent to the site for your local partner company. Once you are there, you will see all of the package options available in your area. Options will include bottle sizes, type of water (spring or regular purified), and even which dispenser model you want (if you need one). After you select from the options, you will just have to finalize by filling out all of the e-paperwork required to set up your plan!
How it Saves You Money and Time
The first one is easy: it is cheaper. Costco pairs with your local partner take their price and then guarantees you a discount. This makes sure that you are getting the best deal possible. You’ll be paying a little less per bottle, and it will add up over time. The more water you use, the more you save! So, if you have a big family, this is a terrific way to cut costs and maximize your income.
The second one isn’t hard either. If you don’t have to go to the store and buy water, you are saving time. You won’t have to go and refill your bottles, buy new ones, or deal with any maintenance hassle. Costco makes sure you are set up with a partner company that will take care of you. So, you not only save time and money but also stress! More time, more money, and less stress seem like a great deal to me.
