Yes, you can shop for organic food at Costco.
The mega-retailer carries an ever-growing assortment of organics, although not necessarily in a single section of the store.
This arrangment can make it can seem like the store has a smaller selection of organics than it actually does.
Depending on what’s in stock, the organic items include a few items apiece place within the produce section; frozen foods; meats; condiments; dry snacks; prepared meals; juices; dairy; soup; tea; coffee; grains; cereals; bread; and pet food.
Make Your List Online
To ensure you don’t miss the full selection of organics, you might want to peruse Costco’s website to compile a shopping list so then you’ll know where to look when you reach the store.
While you’re online you can take a look at product sizes so you can determine how much of a cost savings you get on the price per ounce or pound compared to competing stores.
Figuring out the savings would otherwise get rather unweildy if you tried to do it in the store, since Costco tends to carry larger sizes than most other retailers — save for other warehouse stores.
Assume that at any given time only some of the following organic grocery items listed on Costo’s website are going to be in stock at your nearest store. If any of the following items aren’t on the shelves, try going back at a different time of day to see if you can catch it in stock.
