Kourtney Kardashian debuted her reality television career in 2005 on the series “Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive.” She started the show so that she could earn money for charity. “Filthy Rich” was not what made Kourtney jump into the spotlight though. In 2007 the sex tape her sister Kim made with Ray J got leaked and the family was suddenly thrust farther into fame. Later that same year Kourtney, her siblings, her mother and stepfather were offered the opportunity to star in a reality television series called “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” The series became wildly successful and led to spin-offs like “Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami,” “Khloé & Lamar” and “Kourtney and Kim Take New York.”
While she got her start on reality TV Kourtney has also made a career in the clothing and boutique world. She and her mother, Kris, opened children’s clothing boutiques called Smooch. There are locations in Los Angeles and New York City. Kourtney also co-owns and operates D-A-S-H, a clothing boutique. D-A-S-H has locations in Los Angeles, Miami, New York City and a pop-up store in the Hamptons. In 2010, Kourtney and her sisters released another clothing line for Bebe and later that same year announced that they would be working on yet another clothing line called K-Dash that would be sold exclusively on QVC.
In addition to their clothing lines, Kourtney and her sisters also created a sunless tanned called Kardashian Glamour Tan and, in 2010, she co-wrote the book “Kardashian Konfidential” alongside her sisters as well.
