Xiaomi Mi Band
If you are a serious bargain hunter, you may have already stumbled upon the Xiaomi brand. It has recently expanded into the United States and Europe, and the fitness band has already sold over one million units throughout China. It isn’t as stylish or sleek as some others, but it tracks steps, calories and sleep. It will also wake you up at a time that won’t leave you feeling groggy. The battery it has lasts 30 days between charges. The best part? It cost less than $20.
Misfit Flash
Misfit is a better-known brand for fitness bands. It tracks sleep and steps like most others. It also can tell when you are cycling or swimming. Its battery last six months and comes in a range of colors. Although a lot of fitness bands have cut down on price, not many have been cut this low. The Misfit Flash, which can be found or $25, is perfect for swimmers or athletes that want to do more than count steps.
Moov Now
Speaking of tracking more than just steps, Moov Now fitness bands are perfect for just that. The band is designed to try to help you get better at the sports and activities you love. The Moov Now bands are perfect for boxers, runners and indoor cyclists. It is a bit more expensive ($59.99), however, it tracks much more than the previously mentioned bands.
Jawbone UP Move
The Jawbone UP Move is another fitness tracker that can be found at a great price. It has an accelerometer for step tracking and there’s sleep tracking as well. It has a variety of different colors and they are reversible and interchangeable for those who want the tracker to match their clothing. It comes in at a low $39.99.
Pivotal Living
Fitness trackers can cost up to $300 for a simple band. However, Pivotal Living believes you should be able to access that information and that guidance without spending that type of money. It is a subscription-based tracker. Essentially, the actual band is free and users pay a $12 a year fee to use the app ($1 a month). It monitors steps, sleep and has a smart alarm like many others, but it comes free-of-charge. Of course, if you do not pay for the app, the app will lock up and the band will become useless, but it is a small price to pay for some of the latest technology.
You don’t have to pay an arm and a leg to have some of the newest technology. In fact, you can make your friends jealous by paying very little for the same technology. They’ll wish they’d thought of it first!
