Is Walmart Open on Saturday, July 4th?

Yes, Walmart will be open on Saturday, July 4th. Walmart stores will be running on their regular Saturday hours.

Walmart actually only closes its doors once a year and that is for Christmas. As you may or may not know, Walmart is even open throughout portions of the day like Thanksgiving so they can be prepared for those deal-finding Black Friday shoppers.

It’s important to note that while Walmart is open on the 4th of July, Walmart chain stores may not be open like Sam’s Club, for instance.

Another wonderful thing about Walmart is around the holidays, including July 4th, they arrange the aisles and front of the store with popular seasonal items you may need to celebrate a specific celebration. This helps shoppers be able to get in, find what they need and get out quickly and continue enjoying the rest of their holiday.

If you happen to need anything last minute for the 4th of July, you can most likely count on your local Walmart for all your needs.

Easy Access on July 4th

Since Walmart has more than 470 different locations throughout the country and there’s at least one store in or near every medium-sized suburb, it’s very easy to locate a store when you need it.

Some Walmart stores, especially supercenters, are pretty large and easy to navigate through even during peak times with several other shoppers out and about. This could also be a huge sigh of relief for those shoppers who may not be familiar with the store layout. Instead of having to ask a store associate where something is available, you can just look by the registers, front of store, or aisle dedicated to Independence Day and be on your way.

Stock Up On Last Minute Deals

What better way to get your kids involved in the festivities this Independence Day holiday than picking up a box of sparklers or Pop-its? Both have been a low-cost tradition of many throughout the country. Walmart does a great job of offering these items at such affordable prices as well. Fun patriotic themed foods and decorations help kids get in the spirit of the holiday and Walmart offers some of the best prices around to fit your budget.

And if you like to bargain shop after season be sure to check in with Walmart the day after Independence Day for sales.
