Getting closer I just got off the phone with T-Mobile and I have an account number. When I get my SIM, I'll port my number over to T-Mobile and it should be done. When that's done I'll repost again.

First, I used your friend referral link and could only get this far with the webpage below in which I had to either go in person into a store or to call them by phone (no webpage to sign up online). All the reseller cell services such as Mint mobile, Cricket, Boost can sign up online. I think the main reason T-Mobile requires either in-person or by phone is that they have to do a credit check. Mint mobile, Cricket, Boost all don't require credit checks. Well this credit check is when I ran into problems. You see I froze all 3 credit agencies so T-Mobile was not to obtain my credit. The T-Mobile agent was patient while I went online to try to unfreeze it but another set of problems ensued. It's been so long that I haven't accessed the 3 credit bureaus that when I tried logging into my accounts the two-factor authentications were sending the codes to emails that I no longer used. So I had to call the credit bureaus to change emails in order to log in. I've been spending half a day today on the phone with the credit bureaus trying to gain access to my accounts but I was successful and unfroze my credit freezes. The T-Mobile agent said he would call me back later today to finish the sign up. Also, this Samsung galaxy S22 plus phone uses a physical SIM which T-Mobile will have to send to me so if everything goes okay sometime this week I'll be good to go with T-Mobile. I'll keep everyone posted here as to the progress. As the saying goes it's not over until it's over.

                1) intended to buy this new $899 iPhone and pick up today
                2) T-Mobile $30 connectivity applied
                3) requires credit check required (does this mean I have to unfreeze my 3 credit bureaus again)?

Pay cash upfront vs. monthly payments & no credit check required?

If they won't play ball, you should be able to ask which rating company they use & only unfreeze that one.

Yes paid in full. I remembered T-Mobile checks Trans Union & Experian so temporarily unfroze just those two for today only. Completed the order just now and will pick up in 1 hour. I learned my lesson trying to take on Apple and I throw in the towel and like a little puppy dog with my tail inbetween my legs will meekly go back to Apple to pick up my new iPhone 14 plus 6.7" screen.

I have my new iPhone in my possession but in the box they only provide a cable but no 20 W charger adapter. I don't want to fire it up yet without being able to charge it. What is wrong with these people. It probably saves Apple $20 by not providing a charger but come on it is a necessity. My Galaxy S22 plus didn't come with a charger as well, if I recall correctly. I'll order one from Amazon or eBay. I don't want to go back to the Apple store which was packed full with people and I would have to make an appointment or wait my turn too hum-bug.

T Mobile provides lots of freebies with their service but of course I'm still paying for it as they factor in all of these add-ons into their final price but since I'm paying I activated these 3 add-ons just now; 1) AAA Classic free for 1 year (would be $54 annual fee + $20 activation fee = $74 total for free), 2) Apple TV free for 6 months (would $4.99/month) , 3) Paramount + free for 1 year (would be $4.99/month). Watching Hawaii 5-0, love it.

Yes, I guess we can say there is no such thing as a free lunch, right? This is what I hate about cell phone contract plans -- free stuff that's not really free. I like my prepaid plan better and it's simple - unlimited talk minutes and unlimited texting. No data or internet access. Oh, and let's not forget that if I decide I absolutely hate it, I could cancel right now.

James just checking if T-mobile issued you the $50 gift card. If not let me know and I will get to the bottom of things with T-mobile.

James today I saw Webull might have ties to China. Charlie Gasparino (right) was asking Webull CEO (left) about it.
