  • Survey Apps That Actually Pay Well

    Guys

So...as many of you know I'm often on the hunt for ways I can maximize the few spare hours I have in my day.

I've experimented with at least 15 different survey apps in the last two or three years. Most of them aren't very good - or the pay is terrible when considering the time invested.

Here are a couple of servey apps that actually don't suck and are worth it if you want to pick up a couple of extra bucks.

First: 1Q. This app is US based, and pays 25 cents per question you ask. its smartphone based, and I believe is kosher (e.g. doesn't do anything shady like sell your data). The only drawback is the questions are somewhat rarer as I suspect the app charges more to their consumer research customers than the competition.

I like it, and if you want some spare cash, recommend it.

You can get it here => 1Q.

Second: Prolific. I don't know a whole lot about this one, but as near as I can tell it is a successful platform for academics and market researchers to connect with participants for their studies. How it works is you login and create an account, then you get to participate in short studies. These range from 1 minute to 20 minutes, and are usually behavioral or cognitive type studies with lots of "agree/disagree with the following statement" type questions. They also run a lot of studies asking participants to rate products or scenarios. There are a couple of things I like about it.

First, the pay is decent. It pays in GBP. And the typical study takes about 2 to 3 minutes and pays between 20 and 30 pence. This isn't bad for your time.

Second, they also have a lot more studies than 1Q so its a good alternative to watching TV in the evening. You can sit down and crank out 4 or 5 dollars in 25 to 30 minutes.

You can get prolific here => Prolific.

Both of these pay promptly to Paypal.

Neither of these are huge money makers, but they're good if you're looking to pick up a bit of extra money.

I've got a friend who has one of these type apps that pays in cryto. He's been doing it for a couple of years and the last time he showed me, his total earnings were at $1,500. I don't know if he has just answered that many questions, or if the particular coin has ween up that much over time. The next time I see him I will get the exact details.
