There is a sign that says it is monitored with cameras but if someone did in fact steal that's the chance they will take. Come to think of it now that you've mentioned it James, I would imagine they would get away with it. To locate and try to prosecute someone for a $3.95 Gatorade or Pepsi would not be worth it.

It's a self contained ice machine that sits on a lot; makes ice, sells ice and dispensed it, no employee required.
They call it twice the ice because you get 20# for what you typically pay for a 10# bag. Dispenses right into a cooler, or into a bag.
Just need a lot with electric and water supply, and room to pull in and park. I'm sure there is some routine maintenance of filters, etc. as well as retrieving the money and keeping it stoked with change or tokens and bags.

Fishindude77 - it sounds low maintenance. The only thing is you'd have to careful about where you placed the machine. For example, it would probably do better in states where the weather is continually hot and the demand for ice is high. And even then you'd likely have to be smart about placing it.james.c.hendrickson@gmail.com
