I guess it's due to the holidays but just this week I have seen a significant increase in the success rate of selling items via the Facebook Marketplace. People are looking for deals of the holidays perhaps? Regardless I love the fact that people pay me to come take my clutter away! Win, win! What else can I sell in the next week.

I just furnished our vacation home almost entirely (except for mattress, sleeper sofa, and accessories) from FB marketplace. I scored some really good deals.
Furniture around here sells fast! I had a hard time finding the right coffee tables and actually bought and sold (for a small profit even) 3 of them before landing on the right one. I always had messages from buyers within an hour of posting.

I've sold many items on Facebook Marketplace. All sorts of things from small pieces of furniture to baseball cards to old Coke bottles to china figurines to Disney collectibles and more. I think it's just like any other sales venue. Good clear photos. Fair prices. Detailed descriptions. If you live in a well-populated area, you can do well. I've had things sold and picked up within an hour of my listing. When I'm spending the day cleaning the garage, I'll list things as I come across them and people will come by and pick them up while I'm out there working. It couldn't be any easier.Steve
