Can you really make money blogging?

I always read that an easy way to make money online is to blog, but everyone who seems to say this isn't actually making money blogging -- just hoping they will make money in the future by blogging. I assume that you can make money blogging if you put a lot of time and effort into it, but it seems to me that there are much easier ways to make money than that. Am I wrong in this assumption? Are there people who make money blogging where they don't have to spend a lot of time doing it?

Yes you can make money from blog or website. But you must create blog firs and update with unique content and do SEO then you can make money ....

Sure you can, but it takes time and a lot of patience. You also will need a lot of Google ranking knowledge (SEO), because the biggest money you get with free organic traffic.

As others have said, it is certainly possible to make money with a blog.

But you are correct, it is not easy. You have to set up your blog with content that brings people back regularly. This means you have to have a consistent update of your postings. You will have to promote your site and treat it with the respect you would if you had tons of readers, even if you only have a handful. It takes time.

As I am sure you understand, the vast majority of the money people make from blogs is via advertising and sponsorships.
