  • Motor Club Of America Scam or not a scam?

Alright so i came across MCA (Motor Club Of America)Now going through information and such i looks like a good legit opportunity despite them having a craptackular web site which it lists the memberships to the club you can buy which have particularly great benefits. I have verified the legitimacy of the company with a few companies they list you can use said benefits at as well as i called the 800 number they list. My issue here is the so called members that promote the business opportunity that MCA/TVC ( TVC is apparently the program they have for CDL licensed people) stating to "turn $40 into $1000" Now i have verified through motor club of america by way of their representative you DO NOT have to buy any of their memberships at all to become a affiliate and sell their memberships to turn a profit. As well as you only get paid for selling a benefits membership not recruiting people to sell the service. as they can join the affiliate program for free. most of its members that state they are making 50k+ a year or such seem to always be trying to promote it as " Pay $40 to join and be able to promote the company" But as i stated the company itself has said that that statement is inaccurate.

What i want to know is your thoughts on the company and whether you see a legit opportunity that is being promoted wrong by some of its members, or a scam all together. If possible i would only like people that ARE NOT part of mca and likely lurking this forum to respond.

It seems clear that, if nothing else, MCA is quite controversial:

The most compelling portion of the report for me was this: "Motor Club of America is EXTREMELY expensive for what they are trying to sell. AAA is much cheaper and unquestionably reputable."

I second AAA if you are looking for a service like this. Stick to a company that is reputable.

If they claim they can turn small amounts into large amounts without a huge amount of risk, it's a scam.
