Clerical work at home jobs?

I work from home, but the only clerical work I have ever found is Mechanical Terk. The pay is crap. To be honest most of the time it's a penny here, ten cents there, etc... It makes enough to pay the water bill. Nothing more.

It's true that there are legitimate online jobs and that there are also scam sites. I've been working on online jobs for almost a year already and have experienced getting scammed. The first legitimate jobs I got was writing articles then was a virtual assistant and then became a web designer.

The outsourcing site where I've worked these jobs is in oDesk. You can read an odesk review to help you understand how their system works. Don't worry about having a hard time getting a job at first. Just be patient and do more effort since being a starter means there's fierce competition.
