This is a very nice gesture; one line of thought would say that a parent's responsibilities end at the undergraduate level.

If you are considering a mortgage re-fi, etc this just may be beyond your financial means.

If she really wants the Dr title, there is a price to pay and a valuable lesson to be learned, financially.
