I'm in the same boat, just made the final payment on my student loan last week
I've been debating about what to do with the extra income I have now. Part of me wants to just increase the amount I put into my Roth IRA, but then part of me wants to do something where I'll have access to the money before retirement. I've been thinking about Lending Club but I need to investigate the tax situation more.

We've been cash and carry for bout 10-15 years now. Only thing I would borrow on now would be an appreciating asset such as investment real estate.
