  • I'm debt free

We owe nothing to no one and have no debt. It's an unusual feeling. One I haven't felt since in 13 years. LOL It won't last long but I'll enjoy it while it does.

Very cool. We are still years away due to the mortgage but we're getting there.

      * Despite the high cost of living, it remains very popular.
      * Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?
      * There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going.

You will get used to it...and then the thought of taking on any debt will become anathema.

Mortgage free too! We don't own a home either. Not my preferred plan, but it works for now while we are moving around frequently.

I'm in the same boat, just made the final payment on my student loan last week I've been debating about what to do with the extra income I have now. Part of me wants to just increase the amount I put into my Roth IRA, but then part of me wants to do something where I'll have access to the money before retirement. I've been thinking about Lending Club but I need to investigate the tax situation more.

                      Good job !
We've been cash and carry for bout 10-15 years now. Only thing I would borrow on now would be an appreciating asset such as investment real estate.

Wish I would have started that lifestyle earlier
