  • What's you credit card limit?

I just got word from my credit card company that my limit has bee raised from $7500 to $10,000 -- that means that I now have $30,000 available to spend from the credit cards I have which is kind of scary that they would allow me that much. I wouldn't allow me that much.

I have learned my lesson and always pay in full each month now, so there is no concern there. Still, that's a lot to give to someone who makes as little as I do.

How much would your credit card allow you to spend if you maxed them all out?

Interesting question, haven't looked at it in a while...the rough math says I could put about 100k on credit, not that I ever would.

Like you I always pay in full each month so I'm not too worried about it.

The individual card limits range from $3500 to $42,000. If I "maxed them all out" the combined credit card limits would amount to $319,900.

How many credit cards I have and why is all detailed in my blog post

Unless I am missing one it would be 10,900. That is roughly a quarter of my personal annual income. My husband has several of his own also.

            $300. I don't particularly like credit cards...

Total is between 75k-80k. That is 2.8 x my annual income since I am retired and only pulling down soc + a VERY small (covers food & HBA) pension.

We have 2 CCs, but we only use one of them. I think the limit is $12500, which is much more than we ever charge in a given month.

I have 3 cards, but only use 1 of them. Total, I have around $17K in available credit. I've never came close to charging that amount.

We like to keep it simple so we only have two cards with a credit limit of $50k combined.
I think we charge less than $1000 a month on the card though.

I must be really bored today because I actually went and looked it up. Total $118,900 over 5 cards. My highest limits are American Express and Chase @ $35,000 and $33,900. Best interest rate for purchases is Capital One @6.9%.

We hardly ever carry a balance. I do have a balance on Discover right now because we used a 0% offer for our bathroom remodel. My husband typically charges $3 to $4k a month on business travel.

I have lost track of all the cards I have (don't worry, they're all packed away), but I know a few have 5 digit limits. Altogether I suspect they would hit near $100,000. And while I could survive that, I sure as **** ain't going to do it.

We have 4 main cards that total about 100K. We also have a couple of others that we don't really use (Disney Visa, Macy's card, etc.). I don't know what's on those.

I don't really wanna look it up, so I'm gonna guess between $20-30k, not counting my Gov't work travel CC, which I'm not sure what the limit is.

Like most of the others here, I pay off all my balances every month and don't get anywhere close to maxing them out, so I'm not too worried about the limits.

5 cards with a combined credit limit of about $90k. Crazy to think about that!
