  • Best Credit Card Offers

So far this month I have made over $2,000 in credit card offers. I was just wondering if you guys know of any good CC offers out there.

How are you making money on credit card offers? Doing things like "open a card and get a $200 gift card" type of deal?

Mostly spend so much and get cash back. Some times gift cards but only if thats all they offer and only if there for Amazon. What I do is pay bills with it or buy gift cards to Meijer where I know I will be buying groceries or gas and pay the card right off so I don't lose money.

How much are you charging to get $2000 cash back in a month. 1% is a pretty standard cash back offer. Did you really charge $200,000 on your credit card last month?

Not necessary. The cards often have special bonuses. Spend $XXX between this date and that date and get a bonus cashback of $ZZZ. Those bonuses are way above the 1% level. So perhaps it will be to spend $2000/month for 3 months and get $250 cashback which is over 4%.

Plus, there are all kinds of sign up bonuses for new accounts. Open a new card and get $100 after the first time you use the card or after you charge $1,000 or something like that.

          * Despite the high cost of living, it remains very popular.
          * Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?

Even at 4% and a sign up bonus, $2000 for a month seems unrealistic. That would still be $50,000 in charges for a month. If it is real, then I'd like to know exactly how so that I can do the same thing.

I had one that was spend $1,000 and get $400 statement credit. That's 40% return. You can't get that return anywhere.

I would also assume OP is taking advantage of a lot of new card offers. Those can be pretty generous if you don't mind opening a slew of new accounts.

Yes I do take advantage of new account offers. Nothing wrong with the credit card companies paying me.

Do you keep the cards open or close them after you collect the sign up bonus?

I close them. I keep two cards open for emergencies and for the rewards but I always pay them off before the due date.

Does doing this have any effect on your credit score?

No not really. My score has stay in the 740 to 750 range.

That doesn't mean it hasn't affected your score. 750 is quite good but it would probably be even higher if you didn't keep opening and closing cards. Last time I checked (in June) my score was 815 I think.

Your right but for me you should buy on credit anyway unless its a house so you really don't need a credit score. People need to live within their finances.
