    Oh, buying "stuff" and not saving for retirement when we were young.

      Sure I was only 17 yrs old when deciding, but I wish my parents would have encouraged me to go to an in-state university for school. I could have saved at least $30k, maybe even $40k by spending in state tuition :/

      Something so simple, yet nothing can happen now. All I can do is encourage my children to go in-state, which will be mandatory I believe, because one life goal of mine is to pay for my children's education.

        Starting an account with Waddell&Reed. Fortunately I realized this mistake after a couple years. Many realize this late in life (or never.)

          Fortunately other than occasionally buying an item I didn't really need, or spending more than I normally like to in a month on going out with friends, I haven't really made any large financial blunders. However, I like to think that's because I've already watched my own family members go through many of their own financial struggles. So I had a lot of good examples to follow, and bad examples to learn from.
