Paid off student loans

We did it, I was faltering for some time there but we did it! Wife and I paid off $330k in debt over 3yrs, $240k in student loans, 40k in Credit cards, 50k in cars
all thats left is 90k in mortgage... what a relief!

We made $150k the first yr then 300k and now we make 420k

Tell us your secret....how did you do it?

No real secret we just decided to send a set amount to debt every month then when one debt was finished we rolled the previous payment towards the next debt, Dave Ramsey's total money makeover book describes the technique(debt snowball), the key is to be gazelle intense. We were not as intense towards the end (last 6 months) but we made it. And a monthly budget is key with agreement from spouse!

May I ask? What field are you and your wife in? Curiosity's got me With that amount of SL debt and your incomes, I want to guess MD or JD, but I don't know... (you don't have to tell if you don't want to )
