  • Spammer Alert?

Tried to respond to LivingAlmostLarge’s blog and I got this pop up message. Kind of offended and disappointed in the lack of professionalism from whoever set that up.

Butterscotch - this is James, I'm one of the admins and work closely with the tech team supporting the site. Just quickly was there something in the language you used in the comment that might have triggered that? For example was there any profanity the text of your response? I'm not asking to assign blame, I need the details so I can tell the tech guys what to fix.

And yes, its an unprofessional message, I'll talk to the guys about changing it.

I can’t remember. It was a pretty long response about the pros and cons of working from home, but I’m sure I didn’t drop any f-bombs or do any name calling. If there was anything offensive I would have liked a chance to edit the word or typo or whatever it was, rather than lose the whole response.

Well, I agree the message is rather rude. I have spoken with the tech team to have them fix it. Sorry about that!!!

James, that message is awful. That needs to be fixed ASAP.

If something in a post triggers a filter, highlight it or replace it with *** or something. Don’t totally delete it and certainly don’t insult the poster with profanity.

Not sure who put that automated response in there.
I don't have access to the admin side of the blogs, so I don't know

I'm sure it was some legacy language that got added to block spam a while back - we'll get it fixed.
