Jeffrey or Nate -- is there anything you can do about this problem? If we edit our posts and resave them in our blogs, the slashes multiply. They're even showing up in comments.
It's an ongoing issue that Nate has tried to solve a number of times without success. We are going to talk about other options on our next meeting together. Apologies on this.
Yeah - it wasn't the heading that was bothering me - the sidebar got way messed up.
I had a weather widget thing that I had to delete because the slashes in the web link kept multiplying.
I also deleted the e-mail subscribe link because it was really messed up. I thought it was just a widget I could add back? So maybe I wasn't supposed to do that? (I don't see a widget for that?) Oops!
Other than that I can try to reformat with no slashes, but that means no links in the sidebar for now. Since any link will have a slash.
One thing I figured out is, if you update your control panel the slashes multiply. If you go through and get rid of all the slashes and click update, they won't show up. Now the next time you go to update your control panel, you'll see slashes in the editable fields, but if you delete all of those before you click update, they won't show up. It might work for URLs that have slashes in them too, I'm not sure. I only have apostrophes in my control panel and blog name; those are the only things causing slashes to appear.
