Well, I've got a temporary idea here.....

I'm going to put together a chapbook of my poetry work and try to sell it at festivals, craft stores, through bulletin board postings, etc.

Also, offer my writing ability towards business writings, or offer services as a public speaker/performance poet....

Here goes!

Also try to sell some stuff through paper/ads/etc....I've got a lot of junk around here! New years goal #1: Get rid of what I don't need....

That is a good goal. I have a lot of junk too. Maybe a garage sale this spring!

Yeppers, we'll be holding a garage sale this spring, as well. Usually we just give our stuff away, but not if I want to make $5000...

We gave away a whole trailer load last year, including 2 bikes we paid over $400 a piece for, 15 years ago. I am going to price everything and if it does not sell by afternoon, I will give it away for nothing. I wish I had not collected so much "stuff" over the years.

Well, here's the deal...

I put my $20 in my envelope to take a look into stationary, business cards, etc....

I knew I'd go a little in the red.

I used 100 bucks of my entertainment budget to go play poker at a casino with some buddies who just came into town. I hadn't done anything for 2.5 months due to christmas, work, etc.
I'm at a table and win a hand with a full house, Aces full of Kings.....
guy who loses has Aces full of 10s...

Result? I won 25% of around 27,000, after taxes it is 4600 Bucks!!

WOW WOW WOW WOW....I'm still in shock.....

So, result is stilll

4600 won + 20 in envelope, - 100 bucks= 4520 altogether....

Good thing too, the car needs some repairs.....1100 bucks worth....

Loco Lorenzo,

I need you to start a journal...once you do, I will transfer all your old entries into your new blog...we are now featuring the $20 challenges on the front page so there should be a lot more people viewing them from the blogs. Thanks
