Password/username needed to get in control panel

I tried to enter my control panel to make adjustments to my left hand side bar and a new 'passwork/username' security thing popped up. Is this new/permanent?
Am I supposed to now my username and password because normally I go straight into my control panel. Thanks!

I think it may be the result that we switched the site to a new server over the weekend. It should be a one time issue - there me a number of small issues like that around the site. If it keeps happening let us know and I'll pass it on to Nate to look into what the problem might be.

I started getting this on Sunday when I tried to get my stats and I'm still getting it even this afternoon. It looks like its trying to log into a port, so the address is:

---baselle.savingadvice.com:2082---

The username and password that I use to get into my blog or into the forums doesn't work for this cPanel thingy.

This should be fixed now. It shouldn't ask for a password anymore.
