I've been thinking about getting the Emigrant credit card because it is the highest cash back on ALL PURCHASES. My plan is to use my Citi Dividend card for 5% back on gas and groceries, and then use Emigrant on everything else since Citi only pays 1% on everything else. Also, there is no maximum cash back with the Emigrant card which is really nice compared to all those other cash back cards out there. Most limit you to $300 a year in cash back. The $10,000 minimum to have in the linked savings account won't be a problem. The only thing I don't like is that they only pay the cash back out once every SIX months. I also don't really want to apply for another card right now... so I'm still thinking about it.
