When you receive notice of Shareholder Meetings, do you read the proxy materials and vote? Do you find that the proxy materials provide sufficient information to make your decision? How much energy are you willing to commit to the voting process?
I received notice yesterday about a Special Meeting for an ETF that I own shares of and today I reviewed the Proxy Materials but it didn't contain all of the information that I think I need to make an informed vote. I sent a quick Email seeking more information, but am curious if others suspect that information in proxy materials be left a bit vague in the hopes that shareholders will just follow the Board's recommendation or abstain from voting.
