I limit the cash in my investment accounts...
At vanguard I have $7.
At Capital One Investing, I have $0 in my taxable account and $0.80 in my Roth Account.
Example, I bought VTI in my Vanguard account - 40 shares at 122.95 recently. I deposited $4925; that's how I have $7 left.
My next investment will use that $7 and hopefully I'll do better with the math this time to get that cash amount closer to $0.
