Anyone buying silver?

    I don't know, since I hold no paper assets: stocks or bonds, I consider an oz of silver a share of stock, my metal holdings are my blue chip stocks and RE holdings are my dividend paying stocks
    retired in 2009 at the age of 39 with less than 300K total net worth

      I also prefer bars to coins, mainly because "I have some silver bars" sounds so much more wealthier than "I have some silver coins".
      That's why I bought a couple of (tiny) gold bars: i OWN GOLD BULLION!!

        But the long term returns on precious metals is terrible compared to stacks.
