Tesla already piloted this in Australia and have developed the software for this called autobidder.

Total addressable market is multiple trillions depending on how fast Tesla can get these batteries produced.
I've watched too many videos of people making their own powerwalls w/ reclaimed 18650 cell's from laptop batteries. I long for the day that we all have the luxury to harvest energy from the sun via panels on our homes/property into batteries.

I'm going to read a lot more into these new tesla cells. I knew they were looking into battery technology, for kaizen opportunites... The next true technological iteration of battery technology is (IMO) one of the paramount future discoveries to be secured. I'd say its right up there w/ Strong-General AI, truly autonomous vehicles, Fusion reactors, Strong understanding of Genetics and medicine, etc....

Batteries enable soo much.... Imagine a future world w/o almost any (or significant reduction to) wires, power lines, sub-stations, and power outages. If you can economize the cost of storing this energy, allow it to charge/discharge quick, and maintain many charges. You really can fundamentally change what we normally would call "civilization". It's exciting! (and this may be a step along the path). <---- I wish we (USA Govt R&D) spent as much in battery technology as we did on other things.

It's possible that Tesla may lower the price of their existing car models in the future, although there is no guarantee. Companies often adjust their pricing strategies for various reasons, such as to respond to changes in market demand or to remain competitive in their industry.

It's also possible that Tesla may introduce new, lower-priced car models in the future. In recent years, the company has been expanding its product line to include a wider range of vehicles at different price points. For example, Tesla recently introduced the Model Y, which is a more affordable option compared to some of their other models.

Ultimately, it's difficult to predict exactly what Tesla's pricing strategies will be in the future. It's always a good idea to keep an eye on their product offerings and pricing changes to see if they have any options that meet your budget and needs.
