Do any of you have a website that you use to monitor your investment portfolio? I want something where I can enter the tickers for everything and be able to go in whenever and view the current values. Even better if I can download the info and post it into my spreadsheet.

What site do you use to monitor your portfolio?

I notionally have Google Finance (the 'Portfolio' section) doing that for me, and it does have the ability to download everything to excel sheets. Very simple, at least for my very simple purposes, but it might work for you.

If you want something that keeps track of each transaction, I suggest the free portfolio tracker on morningstar.com. That is the primary tool that I use. One of the its best features is that it keeps track of dividends for you.seek knowledge, not answers

Thanks.Steve
* Despite the high cost of living, it remains very popular.

If you have a Vanguard account, you can use their "Financial Engines". You can enter your non-Vanguard accounts into the program and it pulls up the value of your accounts real-time. It stores your account info, so you just have to set it up once. I have a few odd accounts that it doesn't read.

On a side note: A phone app that I enjoy is Seeking Alpha - build your own portfolio(s) and there are also some decent articles/opinion pieces on the funds you add to your list. Each article will turn into a forum type conversation (mainly entertainment purposes).
I use a combination of my capitalone online account and Quicken for my investment tracking/monitoring.

Nothing fancy. Just a list of Assets and Liabilities and a Net Worth calculation.Steve

Depending on how your excel file is designed, I found this template online.
It downloads the stock price via a macro. You can either add this to your existing excel file as its own tab, then link your existing excel fields to the stock price for auto updates... or you can try to figure out the formula on looking up stock quotes and not need to use the linked template.
