  • DOW down 2000 points in early trading

Looks like the bottom is falling out.
The overall economy looks sounds, at least for now.
This could be computers causing the sell off.
But, we could be heading into a nasty time period.

Time to stay the course and not panic.

And look for buying opportunities perhaps.

    * Despite the high cost of living, it remains very popular.
    * Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?
    * There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going.

I'm keeping an eye on airlines, travel related companies, and oil companies.

I'm mostly sticking with the indexes which contain all of those stocks. (If there are companies that do not emerge from this at least they get removed from the index.) I'll be looking at more Disney, but I don't think we are done with all the bad news.

I'm in the same boat for indexes. But not gonna lie, also tempted to pick up some individual stocks for airlines with the recent drops.
"I'd buy that for a dollar!"

            Same here.

American Airlines is down 50% from last month. Carnival Cruise is down 48%. Royal Caribbean is down 58%.

All 3 of them also have good dividends, for now at least.

4-“sies” up on that Index boat for Yours truly.

Looks like I’ll have to up my Uber game to get some more money tossed into that stock market!

Sold @ SPY around 330, sound crazy that within a month its already down to 274.
